IFL is proud to support Bayon School in Cambodia
Bayon School is an association created in France as SEP du Bayon and registered in Cambodia as Bayon Education & Development, which has been working in Cambodia’s Angkor site for over 15 years.
Their mission: to provide education to the underprivileged children and youth living in the Angkor temples area and the nearby village.
They currently support about 400 children’s and teenagers’ education, from primary school, located near Bayon temple, to public middle and high schools in Siem Reap, and even sometimes to university or vocational trainings.
They also opened in September 2014 a vocational training in pastry for young underprivileged women.
The children’s living conditions have a direct impact on their presence at school and on their development. This is why their social workers visit the family.
Additionally, they provide to the students every quarter a hygiene kit and every year a medical check-up, medical cares and treatments if needed.
